Rather expected game when 9th ranked Forssan Alku (2-15) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Kerava Energia Team (6-12) 78-69 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 44-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kerava Energia Team forced 25 Forssan Alku turnovers. American forward Mollie Williams (187, college: Washington) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Italian-Ghanian point guard Rosetta Adzasu (165-90, college: Washington St.) chipped in 20 points, 6 assists and 5 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Kerava Energia Team's coach Esa Maki-Tulokas used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Hope Elam (185-89, college: Indiana, agency: Gamble Sports Management) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Telia McCall (185-90, college: Virginia) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Kerava Energia Team and five Forssan Alku players scored in double figures. Kerava Energia Team moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Honka. Forssan Alku lost their ninth game in a row. Loser Forssan Alku stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Kerava Energia Team will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Forssan Alku will play against the league's leader Catz Lappeenranta (#1) and hope to secure a win.
