Regular Season Round 18: Toyota B SR - Yamanashi QB 52-50

Twelfth-ranked Yamanashi QB (1-17) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Toyota B SR (6-12) in Aichi on Saturday. Toyota B SR managed to secure only two-point victory 52-50. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 21-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Yoshie Watanabe (162-86) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Hatanaka Miho (177-85) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Mika Okada (174-87) scored 17 points. Toyota B SR maintains eighth position with 6-12 record. Yamanashi QB lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. They share the position with Ebara Vickies. Toyota B SR will meet higher ranked Niigata (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Yamanashi QB will play against Fujitsu RW (#5) and hope to win that game.
