No shocking result in a game in Brandon, MB where second ranked Cascades (13-5) won against 5th ranked Bobcats (5-13) 83-71 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-71. Cascades made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Cascades outrebounded Bobcats 47-24 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Jasper Moedt (201) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Manjodh Dulay (190) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Cascades players scored in double figures. Forward Jordan Reaves (196) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Ilarion Bonhomme (180) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Bobcats' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cascades have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-5 record having five points less than leader McMaster, which they share with Ryerson. Bobcats lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
