Regular Season Round 18: Tarvas - Parnu 91-55

No shocking result in a game when third ranked BC Rakvere (14-6) crushed at home 6th ranked KK Parnu (7-9) 91-55. The game without a history. BC Rakvere led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. BC Rakvere forced 20 KK Parnu turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by KK Parnu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American power forward Gregory Jenkins (206-82, college: Iona) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. International point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) chipped in 17 points. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Nemanja Miljkovic (204-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Heiko Rannula (186-83) added 9 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Rakvere moved-up to second place. KK Parnu at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. BC Rakvere's next round opponent will be Valga (#8) on the road where they are favorite.
