Second Stage Round 4: IK Eos - Eagles 84-72

There was a minor upset in Lund where 3rd ranked White Eagles (2-2) were defeated by fifth ranked IK Eos (1-4) 84-72 on Saturday. White Eagles were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Guard Gustav Nystrom (190-89, college: Hope) fired 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center David Hult (204-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Jon Jonsson (201-87, college: Oklah.Christian) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Montelle Williams (193-83) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four White Eagles players scored in double figures. Despite that victory IK Eos went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with Trelleborg. Loser White Eagles dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
