ProB top team - SO Maritime Boulogne (19-8) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Le Portel (15-12) in Boulogne-sur-Mer 82-68. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Pro One Sports) who scored 29 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field). His fellow American import Deven Mitchell (196-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach Germain Castano used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Charles Jackson (203-87, college: Hawaii-Pacific, agency: Court Side) who recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Charles-Henri Bronchard (200-82, agency: Court Side) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. SO Maritime Boulogne have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-8 record. Loser Le Portel dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost.
