No shocking result in a game in Findon where second ranked Adelaide 36ers (13-6) edged 5th ranked Cairns Taipans (9-12) 89-87 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-87. Adelaide 36ers dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Cairns Taipans' 48. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
