Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Aros Leon (5-7) lost to second ranked Maquinaria Ensino (11-1) in Lugo 74-85 on Saturday. Maquinaria Ensino forced 27 Aros Leon turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Aros Leon was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international forward Mireia Navarrete (184-80) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
