There was an upset in Bromma where higher ranked Alvik Basket (2-3) was defeated by eighth ranked Malbas (4-2) 77-66 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-66. Alvik Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) fired 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Alexander Nilsson (209-90) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds.
