The game in Niigata supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (20-12) played at the court of 5th ranked Niigata Albirex (20-10). Kyoto Hannar. did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 90-70 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Niigata Albirex. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-70. Kyoto Hannar. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Niigata Albirex was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. Kyoto Hannar. will face Fukuoka Rizing (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Niigata Albirex will play against Gunma and hope to win that game.
