An interesting game for CCC Polkowice (17-4) which hosted in Polkowice Energa Torun (13-8). CCC Polkowice had an easy win 74-44. CCC Polkowice looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Montenegrin guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 7 assists. The former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Serbian center Jelena Velinovic (193-81, agency: Promotex) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Lorin Dixon (160-89, college: Connecticut, agency: Merit Management Group) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Energa Torun in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CCC Polkowice will meet Artego Bydg. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Energa Torun will play against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
