No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Kiryat Tivon (9-8) beat at home bottom-ranked Hod Hasharon (2-15) 80-65. The game without a history. Kiryat Tivon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kiryat Tivon outrebounded Hod Hasharon 45-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Hod Hasharon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was guard Charles Hinkle (195-88, college: American) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Fred Hunter (196-89, college: Nicholls St., agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Kiryat Tivon players scored in double figures. Kiryat Tivon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Elizur Ashkelon. Hod Hasharon at the other side stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
