Regular Season Round 2: Tadamon - Amchit 73-89

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tadamon (1-1) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Amchit (1-1) 89-73. The game was mostly controlled by Amchit. Tadamon managed to win fourth quarter 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Amchit players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida, agency: KMG Sports Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Alex Scales (192-78, college: Oregon) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tadamon. Tadamon's coach Marwan Khalil rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Amchit is looking forward to face Champville (#7) in Dik El Mehdi in the next round. Tadamon will play on the road against Hoops Club in Beirut and is hoping to win this game.
