No shocking result in a game when second ranked Svisloch (16-5) beat 7th ranked Borisfen (5-16) in Osipovichi 85-72 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-72. Svisloch outrebounded Borisfen 42-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Aliaksandr Hrumiantsau (205-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) accounted for 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Alexander Harkevich (186-86) came up with 23 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Andrei Aheyenka (194-92) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Borisfen in the defeat. Svisloch maintains second place with 16-5 record having five points less than leader Grodno-93. Loser Borisfen dropped to the sixth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Rubon and Prinemanye. Svisloch will meet at home Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) in the next round. Borisfen will play against the league's leader Grodno-93 and hope to secure a win.
