Regular Season Round 21: Sozh Gomel - Grodno-93 46-77

An interesting game for Grodno-93 (21-0) which played road game in Gomel against 3rd placed Sozh Gomel (15-6). Leader Grodno-93 had an easy win 77-46. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Grodno-93 forced 24 Sozh Gomel turnovers. The former international guard Dzmitry Kuzmin (196-75) stepped up and scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Russian forward Denis Pastukhov (197-91, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno-93 have an impressive series of twenty one victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-0 record. Sozh Gomel at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Grodno-93 will play against Borisfen (#6) in Mogilev in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Sozh Gomel will play on the road against Prinemanye in Grodno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
