Regular Season Round 17: Hapoel Kazrin - Ironi Ramat Gan 99-85

An interesting game for Hapoel Kazrin (13-4) which hosted in Kazrin 3rd placed Ironi Ramat Gan (10-7). Second ranked Hapoel Kazrin managed to get a 14-point victory 99-85. The game without a history. Hapoel Kazrin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Hapoel Kazrin especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American players dominated the game. Forward Erik Etherly (201, college: Loyola, MD) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 9 rebounds. Forward David Loubeau (203-89, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Mark Tyndale (196-86, college: Temple) answered with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward T.J. Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St., agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 21 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ironi Ramat Gan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Kazrin maintains second place with 13-4 record behind leader Ironi Nahariya. Ironi Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with R.Hasharon. Hapoel Kazrin are looking forward to face Ironi Kiryat Ata (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ironi Ramat Gan will play against Ironi Ashkelon (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
