The game with biggest difference of round 29 was host Liaoning Hunters' (#8) victory at home over 5th ranked Shanghai Sharks (17-12) 104-94 on Wednesday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Liaoning Hunters made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Shanghai Sharks 50-37 including 16 on the offensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Hakim Warrick (204-82, college: Syracuse) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) produced 31 points and 5 assists and Darnell Jackson (203-85, college: Kansas) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Liaoning Hunters and four Shanghai Sharks players scored in double figures. Shanghai Sharks' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Liaoning Hunters maintains eighth place with 16-13 record. Shanghai Sharks at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with TianJin S.. Liaoning Hunters are looking forward to face league's second-placed Xinjiang Flying Tige in Urumqi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shanghai Sharks will play on the road against Jilin Tigers (#14) in Changchun and are hoping to win this game.
