The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UBC have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-5 record having just -1 point less than leader UFV, which they share with Western and Laurier. Heat lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 19 games lost. UBC will have a break next round. Heat will play again at home against the league's second-placed UBC (#2) and hope to win that game.
