Regular Season Round 28: Saskatchewan - Winnipeg 60-91

An interesting game for Wesmen (13-7) which played road game in Saskatoon, SK against their biggest opponent Huskies (15-5). Third ranked Wesmen had an easy win 91-60. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Huskies. The game without a history. Wesmen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Huskies turnovers. Wesmen shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Huskies' players. Forward Jelane Pryce (201) fired 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Jordan Clennon (183, college: West Plains JC) chipped in 10 points and 8 assists. Five Wesmen players scored in double figures. American forward Dadrian Collins (198, college: Howard) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Matthew Forbes (198) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wesmen maintains third position with 13-7 record having seven points less than leader Windsor, which they share with Lethbridge and Laurentian. Huskies at the other side keep the second place with five games lost. Wesmen will have a break next round. Huskies will play again at home against Wesmen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
