Regular Season Round 20: TU/Rock - Valga 101-56

Leader TU/Rock delivered the nineteenth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Valga (5-16) 101-56 in Tartu. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Valga's 26 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Valga 38-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of international forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian forward Vilmantas Dilys (208-87, agency: Interperformances) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Kristjan Evart (192-90) responded with 15 points and Latvian center Raitis Grafs (210-81, college: Valparaiso) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five TU/Rock and four Valga players scored in double figures. TU/Rock (19-1) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Valga at the other side keeps the eighth place with 16 games lost. TU/Rock will meet at home TTU (#4) in the next round. Valga will play against Tln Kalev (#5) and hope to secure a win.
