Regular Season Round 28: TRU - Victoria 82-68

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Vikies (17-3) in Kamloops, BC on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Wolfpack (11-9) 82-68. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Vikies. Vikies were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Ta-Quan Zimmerman (188, college: Monroe CC) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Reese Pribilsky (183) contributed with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Terrell Evans (193) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and center Chris McLaughlin (208) added 6 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Vikies. Vikies' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wolfpack maintains fourth position with 11-9 record. Vikies at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Wolfpack are again looking forward to face league's leader Vikies in Victoria, BC in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vikies will have a break next round.
