Regular Season Round 35: Shiga L-Stars - Takamatsu FA 89-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Takamatsu FA's (13-18) road loss to fifth ranked Shiga L-Stars (15-16) 73-89 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Shiga L-Stars. Takamatsu FA was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. American power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the other American import swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shiga L-Stars. They moved-up to fourth place. Takamatsu FA lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face again Takamatsu FA (#6) at home in the next round.
