Regular Season Round 19: Stal Ostrow - MOSiR Krosno 86-74

The game between second ranked MOSiR Krosno (14-5) and ninth ranked Stal Ostrow (9-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. MOSiR Krosno was defeated by Stal Ostrow in Ostrow Wlkp. 74-86. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Tomasz Andrzejewski (204-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Marcin Dymala (188-90) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Stal Ostrow players scored in double figures. Stal Ostrow's coach Krzysztof Szablowski used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Dariusz Oczkowicz (181-81) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for MOSiR Krosno. Stal Ostrow maintains ninth place with 9-10 record. MOSiR Krosno at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Kutno. Stal Ostrow are looking forward to face Astoria Bydg. (#10) in Bydgoszcz in the next round. MOSiR Krosno will play at home against Znicz Basket (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
