Regular Season Round 18: Pulaski Warka - UMKS Kielce 64-73

Very expected game when 10th ranked Pulaski Warka (4-14) lost at home to third ranked UMKS Kielce (14-4) 73-64 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-64. It was a good game for swingman Lukasz Fafara (193-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Power forward Jakub Dryjanski (202-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. UMKS Kielce's coach Rafal Gil used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Konrad Kapturski (197-83) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Pawel Piros (185-88) added 16 points in the effort for Pulaski Warka. UMKS Kielce have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with AZS AGH Alstom. Pulaski Warka lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. UMKS Kielce will face AZS AWF Krakow (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pulaski Warka will play against Ostrow Mazow. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
