Tenth-ranked Weert (1-22) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Leeuwarden (8-15). The visitors from Leeuwarden managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected easier game. Weert was tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they could not keep up in overtime eventually losing that period 13-14.
