BJ League round 35 most important game was a victory of Yokohama BC over 7th ranked Sendai 89ers 76-75 on Saturday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sendai 89ers won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Wendell Wendell (198-84, college: UNLV) answered with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Travele Travel (203-88, college: Texas Southern) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Sendai 89ers. Yokohama BC maintains sixth place with 14-15 record. Sendai 89ers at the other side keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. They share it with Aomori Watts. Yokohama BC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sendai 89ers will play again at home against Yokohama BC (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
