Regular Season Round 18: Korsarz Gdansk - Notec 50-101

Bottom-ranked Korsarz Gdansk is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 17th consecutive match to third ranked Notec (12-5) 101-50. The game without a history. Notec led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Korsarz Gdansk to just 6 points in second quarter. Notec dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Korsarz Gdansk's 32. Notec forced 28 Korsarz Gdansk turnovers and outrebounded them 43-22 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Korsarz Gdansk's players. Notec have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group A with 12-5 record having just two points less than leader Legia. Korsarz Gdansk at the other side still closes the standings with 17 games lost. Notec's next round opponent will be league's leader Legia in Warszawa and it will be for sure the game of the week. Korsarz Gdansk will play at home against AZS UMK Torun (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
