It was a good game for American power forward Shanika Freeman (186-83, college: Jacksonville St.) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Katerina Sotiriou (186-84) contributed with 15 points and 4 steals for the winners. Four Proteas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Proteas. Newly promoted Proteas maintains third place with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader AE Ellinikou. Anagenisi lost their third game in a row. Anagenisi at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Proteas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Panathinaikos in Athens and it will be for sure the game of the week.
