Regular Season Round 19: Gimle BBK - Tromso 69-66

The most exciting game of round 19 in the BLNO took place in Bergen. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponent Tromso (10-5) to first ranked Gimle BBK (12-2) 69-66 in the game for the first place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tromso. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 31-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Gimle BBK made 9 blocks. Gimle BBK have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-2 record. Tromso at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Ammerud Bskt. Gimle BBK are looking forward to face Sverresborg (#7) in Trondheim in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tromso will play at home against Centrum (#8) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
