American-British forward Meagan Hoffman (183-82, college: Adams St.) notched 8 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Sarah Woods (174-88) supported her with 24 points. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by guard Mairead McNally (175-88, college: Stetson) did not help to save the game for Ulster Rockets. American guard Kerri Shields (175-90, college: Boston Coll.) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. DCU Mercy keeps a position of league leader, which they share with UL Huskies. Ulster Rockets lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. DCU Mercy's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin Meteors.
