Regular Season Round 31: Shanghai S. - Shandong FB 96-82

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Shanghai Sharks (18-13) beat at home 9th ranked Shandong Bulls (16-15) 96-82 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shanghai Sharks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. The former international point guard Wei Liu (190-80) helped adding 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American-Ukrainian point guard Pooh Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Shanghai Sharks moved-up to sixth place, which they share with TianJin S. Loser Shandong Bulls keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. Shanghai Sharks will face Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#12) in Hangzhou in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Shandong Bulls will play at home against the league's second-placed Xinjiang Flying Tige and hope to win that game.
