The game with biggest result difference took place in Grindavik. Local Grindavik (12-5) outscored 11th ranked KFI (4-13) 97-48 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Grindavik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KFI to just 6 points in fourth quarter. At the losing side forward Agust Angantysson (198-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Joshua Brown (187-88, college: Towson) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains third position with 12-5 record having just two points less than leader KR. Loser KFI keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Grindavik will meet Stjarnan (#6) on the road in the next round. KFI will play against Haukar (#7) and hope to secure a win.
