The game between 11th ranked Znicz Basket (4-15) and sixth ranked Sokol Lancut (12-7) in Pruszkow on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Lancut outscored Znicz Basket 89-64. The game was mostly controlled by Sokol Lancut. Znicz Basket was better in second period 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Znicz Basket to just 7 points in fourth quarter. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Sokol Lancut. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with MKS DG and Start Lublin. Znicz Basket lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Sokol Lancut will face AZS PP (#13) in Poznan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Znicz Basket will play on the road against MOSiR Krosno and hope to win that game.
