Rather predictable result in Rishon Le-Zion where tenth ranked Maccabi Rishon (6-12) defeated bottom-ranked Maccabi Ashdod (3-15) 83-69 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Rishon. Maccabi Ashdod managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international Or Solomon (202-93) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds.
