Regular Season Round 29: Bourg - St Vallier 68-55

Everything went according to plan when third ranked JL Bourg (19-9) defeated at home 16th ranked Saint Vallier (10-19) 68-55 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. Saint Vallier was better in second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard O'Darien Bassett (189-86, college: Troy, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Julian Gamble (207-89, college: Miami, FL) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) added 9 points and 6 assists in the effort for Saint Vallier. JL Bourg moved-up to second place, which they share with Chalons-Reims. Loser Saint Vallier keeps the sixteenth position with 19 games lost. JL Bourg will face Aix-Maurienne (#4) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round. Saint Vallier will play at home against Hyeres-Toulon (#7) and hope to win that game.
