Regular Season Round 30: Windsor - Waterloo 75-78

The most exciting game of round 30 in the CIS took place in Windsor, ON. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Lancers (16-6) to seventh ranked Warriors (5-17) 78-75 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Lancers. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 23-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was guard Jaspreet Gill (188-91) who scored 22 points. point guard Myles Charvis (178-94) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Lien Phillip (203-89) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Enrico Diloreto (185-90) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Warriors maintains seventh position with 5-17 record. Lancers at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
