The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd ranked Golden Hawks' (9-12) home loss to second ranked Marauders (16-4) 66-107 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Marauders led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Golden Hawks' 38. They outrebounded Golden Hawks 50-26 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Adam Presutti (188) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Aaron Redpath (193) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Five Marauders players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Maxwell Allin (193) who recorded 11 points and 6 rebounds and center Jack Simmons (203) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Marauders keep a position of league leader. Loser Golden Hawks keep the third place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
