Regular Season Round 20: Asker Aliens - Centrum 103-77

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Asker Aliens (10-7) rolled over at home bottom-ranked Centrum (1-17) 103-77. The game was mostly controlled by Asker Aliens. Centrum was better in fourth quarter 30-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asker Aliens shot 63.0 percent from the field. Asker Aliens outrebounded Centrum 40-24 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Asker Aliens especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Centrum was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Torgrim Sommerfeldt (198-89, college: Manhattan) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) who added 15 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Guard Ruzh Baleros (176-96) responded with 19 points and 5 assists and the former international forward Miilah Kombat (198-88, college: N.Idaho JC) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Asker Aliens maintains fourth position with 10-7 record. Centrum lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. Asker Aliens will play against higher ranked Ammerud Bskt (#3) in Oslo in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Centrum will play at home against Baerum Basket (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
