Rather expected game in London where 4th ranked Brock (13-8) was defeated by second ranked Mustangs (16-5) 54-41 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Mustangs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brock to just 7 points in first and second quarters and to 14 points in first half. Mustangs held Brock to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Guard Jenny Vaughan (175-90, college: Denver) fired 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Katelyn Leddy (183-89) chipped in 5 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) produced 9 points and 10 rebounds and forward Samantha Dejong (183) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Brock's coach Si Khounviseth rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mustangs maintains second position with 16-5 record behind leader UFV. Loser Brock keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
