Important game to mention about took place in Montreal, QC. Third ranked Stingers (7-6) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Citadines (3-10) 88-87 on Thursday evening. The guests were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 9-point deficit before their 26-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Stingers made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. It was a good game for guard Mukiya Post (192) who saved his team from a defeat with 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. American guard Adam Chmielewski (182, college: St.Francis, NY) contributed with 13 points and 8 assists for the winners. point guard Richard Addai (180-88) replied with 30 points and 6 assists and forward Alexandre Bernard (196) added 26 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Citadines. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Citadines' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Stingers maintains third position with 7-6 record having twenty points less than leader McMaster. Citadines at the other side keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
