Very predictable result when third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (18-10) defeated at home bottom-ranked Nassjo (5-23) 103-91 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Nassjo was better in fourth quarter 40-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Norrkoping Dolphins dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nassjo's 38 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN) helped adding 25 points. Walker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Taylor Brown (198-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 30 points and point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) scored 16 points and 7 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains third place with 18-10 record having seven points less than leader Sodertalje. Nassjo lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Norrkoping Dolphins will face LF Basket (#7) in Lulea in the next round. Nassjo will play at home against Sundsvall Dragons and hope to win that game.
