Second Stage Round 5: LF Future - BG Lulea 86-74

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Lulea: LF Future (#6) and BG Lulea (#8). LF Future (2-3) won against visiting BG Lulea (0-4) 86-74. The game was mostly controlled by LF Future. BG Lulea managed to win third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LF Future forced 23 BG Lulea turnovers. American guard Brian Curry (185-86) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Emanuel Lindback (199-91) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Anton Kobylak-Berglund (197-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Marcus Grahn (187-95) scored 11 points. Five LF Future and four BG Lulea players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LF Future moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Akropol and Eskilstuna. Loser BG Lulea still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Sanda. LF Future will meet at home league's second-placed KFUM Uppsala in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Lulea will play against the league's second-placed KFUM Uppsala (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
