No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Toyota B SR (9-13) crushed 10th ranked Hitachi Cougars (4-18) in Aichi 77-51 on Saturday. Toyota B SR made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game, while Hitachi Cougars only scored three points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of center Eri Hatanaka (178-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Sakiko Nomachi (175-87) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Aiko Ishihara (178-92) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kasumi Takahashi (167-87) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hitachi Cougars. Toyota B SR maintains seventh position with 9-13 record. Hitachi Cougars at the other side keep the tenth place with 18 games lost. Toyota B SR will face higher ranked Chanson V-M (#3) in Shizuoka in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hitachi Cougars will play at home against Toyota A.
