Americana dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Rio Claro's 50. Americana forced 22 Rio Claro turnovers. Americana will face Maranhao (#4) in Maranho in the next round. Rio Claro will play on the road against Brasilia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
