The game had a very big importance for second-ranked GKS Tychy as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B. GKS Tychy defeated 5th ranked Pogon Prudnik at home 74-65. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-18 Pogon Prudnik's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 74-65 at the end of the game. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with GTK Gliwice. Pogon Prudnik lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Sudety. Pogon Prudnik will play next round against Mickiewicz trying to get back on the winning streak. GKS Tychy will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked GTK Gliwice on the road.
