Regular Season Round 30: Saskatchewan - Alberta 60-70

The game between Top Four teams took place in Saskatoon. One of their biggest challengers host Huskies (17-5) lost to second ranked Pandas (19-3) 70-60The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-60. Pandas forced 20 Huskies turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Pandas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Point guard Jessilyn Fairbanks (170) scored 11 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Renee Byrne (178) chipped in 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Antoinette Miller (170, college: Phoenix C.) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Dalyce Emmerson (191-93) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pandas maintains second position with 19-3 record having just -7 point less than leader UFV which they share with defeated Huskies. Loser Huskies dropped to the second place with five games lost.
