There was no surprise in Windsor where 5th ranked Brock (13-9) was defeated by first ranked Lancers (20-2) 73-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Lancers. Brock was better in third quarter 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Lancers forced 19 Brock turnovers. International point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and French forward Jessica Clemencon (190-89) chipped in 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Samantha Dejong (183) scored 16 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lancers have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-2 record, which they share with Regina. Loser Brock dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost.
