An interesting game for Den Bosch (19-5) which played road game in Zwolle against 4th placed Zwolle (15-8). Second ranked Den Bosch managed to get a 13-point victory 78-65. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Zwolle managed to win fourth quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for the former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. American guard David Gonzalvez (193-87, college: Richmond) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. The former international Nikki Hulzebos (205-86) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Justin Stommes (200-88, college: E.Kentucky) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Zwolle. Den Bosch have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain second place with 19-5 record behind leader Groningen. Zwolle lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Den Bosch are looking forward to face Leeuwarden (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zwolle will play against Den Helder and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
