No shocking result in a game when third ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (15-5) beat on the road bottom-ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (3-18) 77-66. The game was mostly controlled by Belfius Mons-Hainaut. Basic-Fit Brussels was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard Demontez Stitt (186-89, college: Clemson, agency: Two Points) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Jason Love (206-87, college: Xavier) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Domien Loubry (186-85) who recorded 22 points and American power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Belfius Mons-Hainaut. They moved-up to second place. Basic-Fit Brussels lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Belfius Mons-Hainaut's next round opponent will be Spirou Charleroi (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Basic-Fit Brussels will play against Kangoeroes (#9) in Willebroek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
