Round 7 in Eredivisie means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Amsterdam where host CTO (4-2) beat league's leader Lekdetec.nl (5-2) 68-60 on Sunday evening. They outrebounded Lekdetec.nl 42-27 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Esther Fokke (185-96) fired 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Janis Ndiba (182-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. CTO's coach Remy de Wit used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Karin Kuijt (175-90) produced 19 points and international forward Loyce Bettonvil (185-93) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. CTO moved-up to third place, which they share with Binnenland. Lekdetec.nl at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by ProBuild Lions. Lekdetec.nl will play next round against Den Helder trying to make it back to the top of the standings. CTO will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
